Saruga Family Session ›› Stettler Family Photographer

I'm always so excited when this beautiful mama contacts me for another session for her adorable family. This is the fifth time we've gotten together and every single time it's nothing short of wonderful! I never think it can get any better, and then BAM! Another epic session in the books!

This is one stylish group of girls, and lets not forget about that handsome dad! Lauren always puts so much thought and effort into coordinating amazing outfits for her family - and through all the text messages and pictures back and forth, we always end up with a beautifully put together family with clean & polished images.

And this session was no exception. Knowing our location and time of day when we would be photographing plays a big role in styling a session. Their outfits were thoughtfully and purposefully put together by drawing inspiration from nature. The greys and blue hues were pulled from the moody skies while the pinks and blushes are reminiscent of the setting sun on the horizon. Tie it all together with a pretty pattern and you have a complete wardrobe!

And can we just take a second to take in this breathtaking view. As we ventured down to find our perfect location ( - it's a good thing I drive an SUV because it was quite the trek!) where the sun was setting juuuuuust right over the hills and yet to showcase the open expansive space, I can honestly say my heart was jumping out of my chest. This land is privately owned by their family so we knew that nothing like it had been photographed before in this area which made me even more excited! Their cattle graze on this incredible land full of hoodoos, dried river beds, meadows, peaks and valleys, and the scenic Battle River boarders their property. It's safe to say, we will absolutely be venturing back out here for many years to come.
